Elizabeth Fildes is a classical singer who has performed in operas, recitals, and concerts throughout the US and in Europe. She is co-creator of the recital series, "From Within," which she performed together with pianist Kristen Doering in Paris, New York, Las Vegas, Rochester, and Kansas, and has also given recitals in Philadelphia and Princeton, NJ. Elizabeth is a passionate supporter of new music written for classical voice; she has commissioned and premiered various sets, including pieces by Benjamin C. S. Boyle and Philip Lasser, and brings this passion for reinventing art song for the 21st century to her work on POETLove. She has also served as an artist liaison for Bel Canto at Caramoor and interned in the media department of The Metropolitan Opera. Elizabeth has studied with teachers Rita Shane, Connie Haas, and Faith Esham at Westminster Choir College in Princeton and the Eastman School of Music in Rochester. She is a proud native of Las Vegas.
