Geoffrey Hahn, a native of Santa Barbara, California, found an interest in music at a young age. While he focuses on classical vocal training during the school year, he loves the versatility of the voice in its ability to transition from opera to musical theatre. Recent performances include Guglielmo in "Cosi fan tutte" (Aspen Music Festival), Fabrizio in "The Light in the Piazza" (Columbia University), Delirio (cover) in "L'Opera seria" (Wolf Trap Opera), Billy in "Carousel" (Columbia University), Dancaïre in "Carmen" (Aspen Music Festival), and Konstantin in "The Seagull" by Chekhov (Columbia University). Looking to combine his love of singing with his interest in environmental studies, he was thrilled to find a perfect fit in the Columbia-Juilliard Exchange program in New York City, from which he graduated in 2015. He's currently pursuing his Master's degree in voice on a full scholarship from Rice University's Shepherd School of Music, where he recently performed the role of Demetrius in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and soon performs the role of Sam in Bernstein's "Trouble in Tahiti".
