Dichterliebe: POETLOVE began with a vision shared by director David Paul and producer Justine Raczkiewicz, but it became a reality thanks to an incredible outpouring of support from individuals and organizations who shared the dream of inventing a new mode of expression for classical song through film.  This unbelievable level of support enabled us to create and produce the film at the highest professional level, and it's now our turn to say: THANK YOU!

Through private fundraising (including two fantastic fundraisers at Rose Story Farm in Carpinteria, CA, generously hosted by Dani Dall'Armi and Bill Hahn, as well as a performance event at the Dimenna Center for the Arts in New York) and a successful Indiegogo campaign, we were able to raise the necessary funds to complete two shoots in New Hampshire (February 2015) and New York City (June 2015), as well as cover professional sound recording, editing, post-production, and festival submission costs.  Fiscal sponsorship by The Film Collaborative, a 501(C)(3) public charity, was instrumental in getting us to the finish line.
